Seventy years ago the name Paolo De Nicola went onto machines that are still at work today. The descent is real, and it runs through people rather than through paperwork — EDEN has stood for Ex De Nicola from the first day. Today the name is ours in full: PAOLO DE NICOLA® is a European Union trade mark owned by Eden Tech Srl.
The mark is not a memory.

Eden Tech is the Italian engineering company that carries forward — and now owns — the name that has stood for special lifting since 1953: Paolo De Nicola®. We design, build and service straddle carriers, travel lifts, gantry cranes and hydraulic-electric handling machines for construction sites, shipyards, ports and industrial logistics.
We are not a catalogue supplier and we do not want to be. Every machine we deliver is built around a constraint the customer cannot change — a quay that cannot be reinforced, a tunnel section that cannot be widened, a load at 600 °C. Never a catalogue, always one machine for one challenge.

Where our machines went
Machines designed and built by Eden Tech Srl, 2023–2026. They build on the know-how our people gained at Paolo De Nicola S.p.A. and Eden Technology Srl — under the Paolo De Nicola name alone, more than a thousand machines and special equipment have been built since 1953.
