Privacy policy

How we handle the personal data of visitors to this website (EU Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”).

2. What data we collect

  • Browsing data. The systems that run this website automatically record some technical data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of the request. These data are used to run the website, keep it secure and produce anonymous statistics.
  • Statistics (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Ltd, to understand how the website is used (pages visited, approximate country, device). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. It uses cookies and runs only if you accept statistics cookies; see section 6.
  • Fonts. Some fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd): to display them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
  • Data you send us. If you write to us by e-mail or call us, we use your contact details and the information in your message only to reply to you and to handle your request.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Running the website and keeping it secure: our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Replying to your requests and preparing quotations: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Website statistics: your consent, given through the cookie banner (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

4. Who receives the data

Data are processed by Eden Tech staff and by the providers that help us run the website, acting as data processors: Aruba S.p.A. (hosting, Italy) and Google Ireland Ltd (statistics). Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell personal data and we do not use them for profiling.

5. How long we keep the data

Browsing data are kept for the time needed for security and technical purposes. Statistics data are kept for the period set in Google Analytics. E-mails and requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them and to meet legal obligations.

6. Cookies

  • Technical cookies — needed for the website to work, including the cookie that remembers your consent choice. They do not require consent.
  • Statistics cookies — set by Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*), duration up to 2 years. They are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing, and you can withdraw your consent, by writing to info@eden-tech.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
